I mean T.I. went down for a gun charge and Plaxico Burress went down for a gun charge. What is the need for any person who can pay to have Armed Security around them 24/7 need with a gun? Could it be the fact that they need to prove they are still "Hood"? I mean should we make a big deal of this Lil Wayne will still be on TV, Lil Wayne will still have CM/YM records behind him, he will still be a Millionaire, and he doest have to worry about applying for a job and hoping his background check comes back clean?

On Thursday, the 27-year old rapper pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a district attorney’s office said. Lil Wayne admitted to keeping a .40 caliber semi-automatic loaded gun on-board his tour bus in 2007. Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter Jr., is due for sentencing in February. His trial had been scheduled to begin in January. He was arrested in July 2007.

Playboy magazine is turning over its cover to the matriarch of Springfield's first family: Marge Simpson.
It's a first for the magazine, which has had everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Cindy Crawford to the Girls of Hooters and even the likes of Jerry Seinfeld on the cover. But it's never had a cartoon character before.
Marge and her pile of bright blue hair are set to grace the cover of the November issue of Playboy. It will hit the newsstands October 16.
Marge isn't going to bare all, though, as the magazine says there will only be "implied nudity" in the 3-page pictorial.
New CEO Scott Flanders says the idea is to attract readers in their 20s to a magazine where the average reader's age is 35.

Breaking News: Shyne Po Out

After spending over eight years behind bars, Shyne was finally released from prison earlier today (October 6), confirms CBS News.
The 30-year-old rapper has spent nearly a decade of his life in both the Clinton and Woodburne Correctional facilites in upstate New York.
Po was serving time on assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession charges for an incident that occurred in December ‘99. While partying at Club New York in Manhattan with then label boss Diddy and Jennifer Lopez—Puffy’s girlfriend at the time—Shyne got involved in a shootout, leaving three people injured.
He was sentenced on June 1, 2001 to ten years. Diddy, who was also charged in the crime, was acquitted.

Kandi Burruss of Real Housewives of Atlanta Ex-Fiance Killed In Fight (Photos)

The fiance of Kandi Burruss, a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," was killed Friday evening at a northwest Atlanta strip club, according to WSB Atlanta.

A.J. Jewell ex-fiance of Kandi Burruss suffered a severe head injury from a fight at Body Tap in Atlanta, Georgia. A.J. Jewell was rushed from the club which is located at 1271 Marietta Blvd to Piedmont Hospital, according to sources.

Burruss' publicist Lisa Nelson confirmed to WSB that the actress has been informed of the incident and said the family asked for privacy.
Police said it's unclear what prompted the fight. No arrests have been made.
