Jay-Z The Blueprint 3 Tracklist

With less than a month until the release of Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3, Jigga has revealed the track list for his highly anticipated album on his official Website. Of the record’s 15 tracks, only three songs find Jay-Z going it solo — the rest boast a kind of hip-hop all-star team. In addition to contributions from Kanye West and Rihanna on “Run This Town” and the previously reported collaborations with Drake, Kid Cudi and Mr Hudson, The Blueprint 3 will also feature appearances from Alicia Keyes, Young Jeezy, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell. Kanye, who served as producer for a bulk of the tracks on BP3, will also appear on the track “Hate.”
Noticeably absent from the features listed on the Blueprint 3 track list are MGMT, who Jay-Z had previously said would be contributing to a song on BP3. (They still might serve as producers on one of the BP3 tracks.) Another notable name that has disappeared from the unconfirmed track list from June is Nas, who was rumored to feature on the track “Empire State of Mind.” The song remains on the album, only now it stars Alicia Keys. Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun, whose debut was one of our favorite albums from last year, appears on opener “What We Talkin’ About.”As Rock Daily previously reported, Jay-Z will perform one of Blueprint 3’s 15 tracks at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on September 13th. The following day, Jay-Z will jump from New York to Los Angeles to perform “Run This Town” on the debut episode of The Jay Leno Show with Rihanna and Kanye West. And of course, The Blueprint 3 is out on September 11th, exactly eight years after the release of the original Blueprint.
Check out the BP3 track list below:

1. “What We Talkin’ About” (featuring Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun)
2. “Thank You”

3. “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)”

4. “Run This Town” (featuring Kanye West and Rihanna)

5. “Empire State of Mind” (featuring Alicia Keys)

6. “Real As it Gets” (featuring Young Jeezy)

7. “On to the Next One” (featuring Swizz Beatz)

8. “Off That” (featuring Drake)

9. “A Star is Born” (featuring J. Cole)

10. “Venus vs. Mars”11. “Already Home” (featuring Kid Cudi)

12. “Hate” (featuring Kanye West)

13. “Reminder”

14. “So Ambitious” (featuring Pharrell)

15. “Young Forever” (featuring Mr Hudson)

10 Reasons Kayne West is a Douche

Everyone should know by now that Kanye has a big ego and loves the attention. He will say and do whatever to keep himself in the spotlight from his antics during the 2006 VMA to calling out Bush on national TV. Here’s an article I found recently listing the Top 10 Reasons Why Kanye West Is a Douche.
Kanye West is a douche for many, many reasons, but it is easy to falter and find yourself thinking “Man, that Kanye’s a pretty wicked dude”. It happens to the best of us, we falter at times, but it shouldn’t have to happen. I have narrowed the proofs of his douchiness down to a ten-point emergency checklist that folds easily into your pocket or wallet for those times when his blinding douchebaggery eludes you.
1. He douched out at the Grammy’s when he took the stage to accept his award, refused to leave the stage when his time was up, and then actually told them to stop playing the get-off-the-stage music so that he could keep talking. Me Kanye. I bes vewy, vewy important.
2. His new album, due out on November 24th, is a departure from his usual style, as he sings more than he raps. That is all good and well, because he is a talented musician, but then he had to go and douche it up by saying that this change in style is an attempt to challenge the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Paul McCartney, who he describes as “those artists in black and white photos”, because taking a crap on music legends serves to make Kanye’s genius obvious to all and sundry.3. In a recent interview, Kanye said, and I am not kidding: “I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice. It’s me settling into that position of just really accepting that it’s one thing to say you want to do it and it’s another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan.”4. In that same interview, he showcased his inveterate respect for other performers by slamming Justin Timberlake: “There were people who had the potential to do it but they went on vacation, so when Justin went on vacation I made albums, and it just came out to be that.”5. Kanye pulled the race card when it was announced that Britney Spears would be hosting the 2007 Video Music Awards. “I can’t believe she would perform. She hasn’t had a hit record in years. Maybe my money’s not right. Maybe my skin’s not right.” Riiiiight, that’s it.6. In an interview with Tim Westwood, Kanye said “I’m doing pretty good as far as geniuses go… I’m like a machine. I’m a robot. You cannot offend a robot… I’m going down as a legend, whether or not you like me or not. I am the new Jim Morrison. I am the new Kurt Cobain… They feel like, yo, you know ‘he’s got a God complex, because he said if they wrote the Bible again that he would be in it’. Duh, yeah, I would be in it. I feel like I’m one of the more important people in pop culture right now… The Bible had 20, 30, 40, 50 characters in it. You don’t think that I would be one of the characters of today’s modern Bible? And people have their own forms of bibles now. It’s a new day and age…”
Watch the interview here.
Somehow, I just don’t think Kanye’s going to be my new personal Jesus.
7. In a display of extremely douchey poor sportsmanship, he now claims that the MTV awards shows are fixed, because how could the “voice of this generation” lose otherwise?8. There are ten Facebook groups that come up when you use the search terms “Kanye West douche”.9. Kanye West blogs up a storm. Mostly he’s fairly boring, but he drops these gems once in a while that turn being a douche into a spectator sport.
10. When his video for “Touch the Sky” did not win at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Kanye publicly expressed his incredulity. “It took a month to film; I stood on a mountain; I flew a helicopter over Vegas. I did it to be the king of all videos and I wanted to walk home with that award,” he complained. Kanye? Whining about how you are not the most popular will not work to make you more popular, but it will get you a “Top Ten Reasons Why Kanye West Is a Douche” checklist. Congratulations.

Dear Journal by Doug Funny

Dear Journal, hi! it's me, Doug.I checked my facebook account todayand Patti Mayonnaise accepted my friend requestIt took me half an hour to think of what to write on her wallbefore I settled for the nonchalant in “Hey, whats goin on”instead of “Patti you're the Mayonnaise for me, woah woah woah!”I pass the time by sifting through her 23 photo albums, then the 47 profile pics, and all 268 of the pictures she was tagged inwondering why a majority of them were taken in bathrooms. Then I notice her Honesty Boxand realize that this may be my chanceto let her know anonymously but know none-the-lessthat when it comes down to it...Patti, I’d eat liver and onions for you, sing along to the beat of The Beet’s “Oh eee ooh, killer tofu”whenever we needed to reminisce and if “there’s a bomb in the lasagna”I’ll be the first to dive on it and protect youSince for a while now I’ve wanted to stepinto the spotlight like Waa-na-naaaaa! Jack Bandit!and steal the show your heart’s been starring in.Patti, I’ve always loved how your hair mimics a sunflower’s bloomand even though the petals have been trimmedthat face is still the most beautiful mosaic of florets.Your voice has always been the perfect sheet of musica giver of life to the inanimate whenever I find myself“Bang'n on the trash can, drum'n on the street light, play'n on my banjoone little voice is calling me” back and forth from every daydream.Which leads me back to another journal entryabout a girl with heliotrope hairthat smiles like she stole May
